It was with great sadness I discovered that Ed Kleinman had passed away recently.
He was tasked with managing The Stranglers during a particularly rocky period in the 80’s.
He came to us as an American tour manager and soon endeared himself to us all, with his insouciant attitude to all problems thrown at him, of which there were many!
He moved from New York to London to take the job on and his business sense steered us clear of many legal potholes.
I will always remember his kindness towards me, together with that of his wife Susan.
May he rest in peace.
